== == First, immediately separate them. The adult DRAGONwill eat the baby. Second, look at the wound to see how bad it is. If it is minor I wouldn't worry too much. If it is really bad it might be best to put it out of it's misery. If it's in between I would try using some medication for bearded dragons used to heal wounds. It should be available in most pet shops. Veterinaries are also able to handle the wound if it's bad enough.

no , the adult may eat or nip the baby and result in a tail loss or leg and or foot loss. Bearded dragons should be housed by themselves. Only a male and a female should be housed together but only shortly for breeding and then removed as this can stress out the female. The baby will be eaten. If it moves, it is food.

Never house reptiles of different species together as in most cases, two separate animals require individual care and cannot co exist. Aggression can be shown, smaller one's can be eaten.

The babies can be defencive. If you incubate them at a lower temp, (75 or something close), they are more docile when they grow up. Don't worry, your baby beardie will get calmer as he gets older.

How big will the bearded dragon get?

The average adult bearded dragon gets 18 inches long (1 1/2 feet) . There are different species of bearded dragon that can get up to 24 inches (2 feet). I have 5 adult dragons. The smallest is about 14 inches, the largest is about 22 inches. Ones that have some "German Giant" genes tend to get larger but you really can't tell until they are full grown. 18 inches is a good estimate but it could be 4 - 6 inches difference in either direction.

Will your bearded dragon die if his beard keeps turning black?

After brumation, a bearded dragon's beard usually turns black because it wants to mate, and it usually gets hyper and runs around alot. Sometimes if a bearded dragon's beard keeps turning black, and it becomes listless, as if dead, be on guard. If this is happening, take your beardie to the vet right away.

Do bearded dragon have to eat bug an salad an crickets?

For your bearded dragon to be healthiest you should feed him crickets meal worms and Romain lettuce. when he is a baby he probably wont eat the salad, and he will eat a LOT of crickets. when he gets older he will cut back on crickets and go to salad. I would not recommend giving him meal worms until he is full grown they can cause impaction in babies.

Why do bearded dragons fight?

Well, depending on the gender, it is usually because they are territorial. If a male bites a female, it wont stop till it gets a territory of its own, so if you have a male and a female, and the male is biting, sell one immediately (preferably the male). If the female is biting, it is scared, so again, sell one immediately.
