Yes, this is possible. Anemia is caused by low iron and is common in pregnancy because the baby is using a lot of red blood cells to grow. Anemia is treated with iron supplements or an increased amount of iron in your diet.
Gestational Diabetes is caused by insulin resistance which results in an increased amount of sugar in the bloodstream.
You can have both at the same time. However, if you are following a diabetic diet, chances are you will be getting enough iron to treat the anemia.

However, you have a greatly increased risk of developing Type 2 diabetes much later in life. Treat your body well and you'll have a fighting chance of avoiding this disease altogether in the future.
