Nope, they are caused by different HPV strains.

However, having HPV strains that cause genital warts doesn't mean you don't have HPV strains that cause Cervical cancer.

Majority of genital warts infection are caused by HPV strain 6 and 11

while majority of cervical cancer HPVs are strain 16 and 18.

They aren't related. but again, it's possible that you have both strain 6 and 18 for example. it's the same thing for people who never had genital warts. They might have strain 16 or 18, who knows?

But keep in mind most people cleared up their HPV infection within 2 years. Females who had abnormal pap smear test usually would always be normal again when they got retested 2 years later

Only very small minority of females with strain 16 and 18 that develop cervical cancer in the end (1-3% or even less)

What is the difference between HPV and genital herpes and can both cause cancer?

HPV (human papillomavirus) causes all kinds of warts -- on your hands, feet, knees, and genitals. Some subtypes of HPV cause genital warts; a few high risk types can cause cancer, including cancer of the cervix, anus, penis, vulva, head, and neck. The types of HPV that cause warts are not the types that cause cancer. Genital Herpes is caused by a herpetic virus, is not related to warts, and is not linked to cancer like HPV is. However, having genital herpes AND HPV increases your risk of cancer from the HPV virus.

Is it true that Genital Warts and possibly cervical cancer are outcomes of Human Papilloma Virus?

Yes, there are different strands of hpv and grnital warts can become present if you have it. Cervical cancer can later develop if you have hpv if your body doesn't fight it off on its own, that's why if you are positive for hpv it's a good idea to get regular tests done to make sure this doesn't happen.

Is bacilli is the one that causes cervical cancer?

Bacilli is a class of bacteria that includes both beneficial and harmful bacteria. Bacteria have not been linked with cervical cancer. HPV is a virus that is known to cause genital warts and is responsible for almost all cervical cancer. There are many different strains, and you can get vaccinated (Gardasil) against four of them, including two strains that cause 70% of cervical cancer. There is no way to kill the virus once you have contracted it

Should children be vaccinated for HPV?

Yes. Vaccination for HPV can reduce the risk of HPV (Human papiloma virus) infection, genital warts, and cervical cancer in women and penile and rectal cancer in men. The HPV vaccine Gardasil was first recommended for use in women, but it is not recommended for use in males and females to further reduce the incidence HPV, genital warts, cervical cancer, penile cancer, and rectal cancer. Ideally, the vaccine should be given to girls and boys before adolescence, usually between ages 9 and 13, because the vaccine must be given before HPV exposure. Just as boys and girls are routinely immunized for measles, mumps, rubella, polio, tetanus, hepatitus A and B, diphtheria, pertussis, meningitis, and chicken pox, they should also be routinely vaccinated for HPV, which protects them from HPV infection, genital warts, and cervical, penile, and rectal cancers caused by HPV.
