sorry mate, i dont know
You can if you use mods or server texturepacks
The Vanilla version of Minecraft refers to the game with no mods or texture packs installed.
BUY THE GAME. Then download some mods for it. The main menu has a spot for mods and texture packs.
Go into minecraft, click "Mods and texture packs" then click default. If you did not install the texture pack by dragging the texture folder into the Mods and texture packs folder then we might have a problem. If you installed the texture pack by dragging the files with 7-Zip or WinRAR into your minecraft.jar then you will have to start up minecraft, but before you log in, click "Options" then force update. THIS WILL ALSO DELETE ALL MODS YOU HAVE ON!
While the user licence of minecraft does allow people to charge for modifications (mods), most mods are published for free.
If you get bored of Minecraft, you can always download a few mods, get a new texture pack, or go on a server and play with friends.
you can get minecraft mods and textures off the minecraft mods website.
When you downloaded the texture pack, it should be in a zip file. You have to put the .zip file into the %appdata%>.minecraft>texture packs if you are a mac user: Your Mac id>Library>application support>minecraft>texture packs. Do not use the Library in the macintosh HD Drive. Then you open up minecraft, then you go into texture packs and mods. Then choose the texture pack, then say ok, then play minecraft :)
When you download an update for Minecraft it deletes the entire .minecraft directory and re-downloads it. This will wipe any mods or texture packs installed.
open minecraft click mods and texture packs then click open texture pack folder then at the top of the document window click .minecraft and then double click the bin folder and it should be in there
yes as soon as you've downloaded the mods you can play the mods while offline.
They used to have this in the early beta days however it was taken out a while ago and the texture pack, now called resource pack, has been moved into the options bar to make it easier to change texture pack in game.
