Go into minecraft, click "Mods and texture packs" then click default.

If you installed the texture pack by dragging the files with 7-Zip or WinRAR into your minecraft.jar then you will have to start up minecraft, but before you log in, click "Options" then force update. THIS WILL ALSO DELETE ALL MODS YOU HAVE ON!

First of all, do you have Java installed? Second, if you do have Java installed, then did you incorrectly apply a mod or texture pack? One thing you can do to stop this is deleting, and reinstalling Minecraft. Before you do this, be sure to get a copy of your save files.
