Truthfully, I don't know the correct answer to that! But I do know that when i was pregnant w/ my oldest daughter I could have swore I hear a baby crying. I asked my NP about it the next time i went to the doctors and she said that it was possible! I thought that was pretty awesome.. so I'm GUESSING that if i could hear her cry.. you could hear in the placenta too! lol
well it is a baby's heart it really is not any different from ours except ours being older is bigger and we have different hearts because it is different bodies so yes it can be heard with a stethoscope
