With a wireless stereo headset, you are able to freely move about without tripping on, falling over, or even getting tangled in an annoying cable. You can also leave the device you are connected to in one place while continuing to use the headset in another room; this allows you to multitask while enjoying audio at the same time.
Swap audio channels using speaker cables connected to your audio card.
You would have to. It does not come with a headset.
You can't plug your headset plug into the headset jack without cutting off the speaker(s) because the tip of the plug physically disengages the contacts carrying the audio to the speakers and re-reroutes it to the headset. It might be possible to file off most of the tip of the headset plug so that it does not disengage the jack speaker contacts, but this is likely result in low headset volume as the audio amplifier now has to contend with the resistance of both the speaker and the headset.
