Why don't I feel good after eating cheese?

You might be lactose intolerant and should therefore avoid too much cheese.

Is Barack Obama lactose intolerant?

Probably not. While many African-Americans do have problems with lactose, it has never been reported that President Obama does. And we have also seen him in photographs eating ice cream.

Does ice cream have soy?

Not usually. Soy would be used in ice cream to replace the milk (for people who are lactose intolerant or practice vegan eating).

Why are you farting alot?

Farting happens because bacteria in the digestive tract produce hydrogen or methane gas as a waste product of their own metabolism. Different foods have different effects on these bacteria. Beans notoriously produce gas because they include a kind of carbohydrate that human beings don't digest, which therefore becomes a rich source of food for bacteria. Onions often stimulate bacterial gas production as well. For people who are lactose intolerant, lactose (also known as milk sugar) creates a huge amount of gas because the lactose intolerant person cannot digest it (due to a lack of the lactase enzyme) and therefore the bacteria do. If you have problems after drinking milk or eating other dairy products, you are probably lactose intolerant.

Why are you sick after eating food with cream in it?

If you get sick after eating food with cream in it, you could possibly be lactose intolerant. Lactose is a milk sugar and a lot of people don't produce the enzyme necessary to break it down. You can ask your doctor to test you for lactose intolerance. If you have no problem with other dairy products, the cream may be a bit tainted. Ice cream and cheese go down OK ? If yes, chuck the cream.

If you are Lactose Intolerant and you drink milk or eat or drink a dairy product will it stun your growth?

If eating dairy products is causing you to have vomiting or diarrhoea, then you may not be getting the nutrients you need to grow properly, and your growth could be stunted. Probably best to stick to lactose-free alternatives.

Can you live with lactose intolerance?

Yes. Lactose intolerance is a condition marked by the inability to digest lactose, a sugar found in milk and milk products. Eating or drinking lactose-containing foods and drinks is not life-threatening, but can produce abdominal cramping, bloating, and diarrhea. The degree of these symptoms is highly variable, and depends in part upon the extent of impairment of an individual's ability to digest lactose. Those that have a mild deficiency in digesting lactose might have no symptoms or only mild symptoms; those with complete inability to absorb lactose might be at the other end of the spectrum with severe cramping, bloating, and diarrhea. In either case, avoiding lactose (eg, by eating rice-based cheeses instead of milk-based cheeses, drinking lactose-free milk products) or supplementing the diet with pills containing lactase (the enzyme lacking in lactose-intolerant individuals) often affords much relief.

Can lactose intolerant people die from eating too many dairy products?

If you are not getting the right amount of calcium and other minerals that are in milk or other things with lactose in it your bones and teeth could become brittle and you could get diseases with bones but I doubt it could really kill you. Try soymilk, coconut, or almond milk.

What is the chief reason that many people with lactose intolerance can consume food containing some lactose without suffering any symptoms?

It depends on the level of lactose intolerance in the individual and it also depends on the dairy food that is consumed. The level of lactose intolerance depends on how much lactase enzyme exists in the person's digestive system to digest the lactose. The more lactase, the easier it is to digest the lactose, the less lactase, the harder to digest the lactose and the food moves through the intestines without being digested properly and this is primarily what causes the symptoms in lactose intolerance. Some dairy foods have lower levels of lactose: * Most low fat yoghurts * Parmesan cheese * Low fat mozzarella But even when eating these foods, if too much is eaten at once or on an empty stomach, it can increase risk of getting symptoms. Other (especially high fat) dairy foods will cause the lactose symptoms (bloating, gas, abdominal pain, nausea) within a short time of eating the foods. Some research suggests that eating a little bit of the well-tolerated dairy foods, together with other foods may help with their digestion and may increase levels of the lactase enzyme as the body becomes more used to digesting the lactose. But other research suggests that we all become more lactose intolerant as we age anyway. Some cultures are more prone to be lactose intolerant than others anyway.

What might cause a your face to tingle after eating cheese?

I guess allerigies probably could. that's my best guess. Other than that, there really is no other explanation. So, I guess if you are allergic to a certain type of cheese or if you are lactose intolerant, then that could trigger it.
