There is no amplifier on the market with an output impedance of 2 ohms. The amplifier will have an output impedance as low as 0.05 ohms. In hi-fi we have always impedance bridging. Zout << Zin. The damping factor DF = Zin / Zout tells you what Zout is. Zout = Zin/DF. If the damping factor DF = 100 and the loudspeaker impedance is Zin = 8 ohms, the output impedance of the amplifier is Zout = 2 / 100 = 0.02 ohms. You see, there is no "2 ohm amplifier" with a 2 ohm output. Scroll down to related links and look at "Voltage Bridging - Zout << Zin".
Normally 1 or 2.
You could with a 4 channel amp. Bridge it to two channels and hook up the two 8 ohm woofers in parallel on the one bridged channel. Then hook the two coils on the dual coil woofer in series with the other bridged channel on the amp.
No, This does not come with an amp. Purchase separately a kicker amp. Awesome !!!
yes, you have to go to your local stereo dealer and get a line converter. that will convert the regular speaker wires to rca which is the preferred way to hook up an amp
Cant you need a amp or you will blow the battery
infinity speakers have the amp on the speaker
The Kicker 4-channel Car amp has the Kicker logo on it.
You speakers will have a much more powerful depth in sound if you do that.
PYLE is not one of the best brands of amps, amps made by kicker, infinity, JVC and other top quality companies provide better quality.
Yes, the L-7s are great. For the amp, you first need to find out whether the sub woofers are 2-ohm, 4-ohm, or 8-ohm. Depending on the answer to that question will determine whether or not you'll need a mono amp or a dual channel amp as well as the wattage.
I recently installed a pair of 12" Infinity subwoofers in my 2000 Gramd AM. I ran the power wire from the battery on the driver's side of the car to the amp. I ran the audio wires and the antenna wireon the passenger side of the car. You should put the wires on opposite sides of the car, to reduce static that can be caused from the electromagnetic field produced by the large amount of power running through the power wire. Hook up the audio wires, antenna wire, and power wire to the amp. Then all you have to do is connect your amp to your subs. GrandAMMAn
