sure just be careful some old dogs won't appreciate a younger dog jumping all over them. But some will.
The simple answer is you keep them separated when you are not there. Introduce them when you are and teach the dog to accept the puppy.
it is best to introduce them when the dog is a puppy, let them stay in the same area; this (in time) should get your dog used to cats =]
Well, when my golden retriever was 2 years old, I bought a miniature pinscher puppy. From what I noticed, the best way to introduce them is by holding the puppy in your arms and slowly allowing the older dog to sniff the puppy, but don't rush it or the puppy will get scared. Also, have someone standing behind the older dog in case he attacks or something, if your dog is temperamental. As long as you take it slow, there (hopefully) shouldn't be a problem :)
You put the dog in front of the dog.
yes because the injections stop it from getting deseases
slowly introduce the new puppy to the older dog start by just letting the older dog sniff some of the puppies toys, then slowly let them see each other, then finally put them together for a while
The best way to introduce a new puppy to an older house cat is to hold the cat while the puppy checks it out.
