Every fit male Turkish Citizen can/must join to Turkish Army. If you are graduated from university or a higher degree, you fulfill your military service first as corporal, then sergeant. This is 6 months. If you filfill your military service as reserve officer it will take 12 months as lithuanent. Man who are graduated from highschool or a lower degree fulfill their military service as private and it takes 15 months. If you want to be an officer, it doesn't matter if you are male or female, you must go to military highschool, then military university.
If you are a university graduate, you can either serve 12 months as a second lieutenant or 6 months as a private. Otherwise, yous serve 15 months starting as a private (then you can be promoted to corporal and sergeant eventually)
