Its better to soak your ear in warm water first. They'll come off a lot easier. Picking at it when its dry can really irritate the piercing and even hurt if its really new.

Is the crusty stuff normal for the cartilage piercing?

Yep. As long as it isnt a dark greenish/yellow. Its usually a very light yellow/white color. Its especially common with new piercings but it can pop up on old ones if you get sick or hit the piercing. Just wet the area with warm water and use a qtip to get it off. Dont try to pull it off when its dry. That really irritates the piercing and can sometimes hurt.

Why do you have whiteyellow stuff on your tongue 5 days after your piercing?

That is the normal discharge that occurs from tongue piercing, just like ear piercing discharges after they have been pierced and are healing the tongue does the same sort of thing. That will disappear is a couple of days, just be sure you are rinsing and keeping cold stuff on the piercing as often as possible.

Is it okay to use Bare Minerals makeup after just getting a facial piercing?

Is it bad when you find crusty yellow stuff in your ear?

No, most times it's just dried ear wax which is perfectly normal.

Is your belly button piercing supposed to release pus?

Well, it depends on how much, and if it's really pus, or just lymph. Lymph will accumulate on any piercing, it will look like the crusty stuff you get in your eyes when you wake up. This is totally normal and expected. Pus can be seen in small amounts, especially since navel piercings take the longest to heal out of ANY body piercing. But if you're seeing tons of it and the piercing looks inflamed or infected, then I'd go get it checked out. Be really good about doing sea salt rinses every day while it heals!

Is it normal to have a white looking thing around tongue ring at the borrom of tongue piercing?

Do you mean white crusty stuff on the ball of the tongue ring? If so yes that's normal, its like plaque that builds up on your teeth if you don't brush them, just take out the bar and clean the white stuff off so it doesn't build up! Hope this helps! ______________ Do you mean a pus-mucous type substance on the bottom? If so, then that is from eating/drinking dairy. Avoid dairy at all costs for at least 2 weeks.

How long will it take for the junk to stop coming out of your Monroe piercing?

Is it normal for your new lip piercing to get crusty stuff on it?

a small amount should be normal as the pericing is healing so just continue to clean it reguarly. however if this carries on after the recommended healing time (about 6-8 weeks i think?) then you may have an infection particularly if it is yellowish / discoloured / bleeding i had the crusty stuff at first when i got my nose pierced but ive never had any problems with it.

Does a rook piercing rejects?

No rook or any cartilage piercing for that matter will not reject or migrate because it's held in place by the cartilage it self. It will get annoyed and cranky if you are using aftercare products that are reacting to your body. So stop using all the woo woo magic stuff and just flush the piercing with lots of warm water daily and see if the piercing settles down. If it does then you were reacting to the aftercare stuff and the mystery is solved.

What happens if you remove your tongue piercing before its healed?

Well nothing then again you could loose the piercing. Don't mess around with your piercing unless you have decided to go without it, then take it out and leave it out. Screwing around with a piercing that isn't healed is inviting infection, tearing and other nasty things to happen to a new piercing just because you were curious.

How do you clear up darken skin around monroe piercing?

Is it a new piercing? It might just be bruising. Especially if the piercer used clamps. Otherwise, there really shouldn't be dark skin but it might be scarring. You can use scar cream on it just not directly in the piercing
