It depends on the individual tortoises. If males are kept together in the presence of females, ramming and biting will occur. Some people have no issues keeping males together and some fight constantly. Introduce them slowly and allow separate in closures if necessary.
yes when they are a little older then 2 or more
they keep together 2 achieve goals
They should live 2 or more. But male mice can't live together always. If you see your male mice fight or beep you should split them. Also i don't recommend to have more then 10 females together.
It depends on their age, are they still intact (not neutered), their temperaments, etc. I would not bring in 2 mature male Mastiffs together with no preparation. If you wish to keep 2 male mastiffs then I recommend you neuter them both first, introduce them slowly & properly. Keep them at first in separate areas where they can see each other. It is better to keep one of each sex if you wish to have 2 dogs. Keeping 2 males together is asking for trouble. It has been done but with people who know what they are doing. This is a large breed and once you have that first fight, they will hate each other forever.
No.
If two male Betta (Siamese fighting fish) meet, no matter the volume of the tank, they will fight. Some breeders will put opaque sheet partitions in the tank to keep the male fish out of sight from each other. Females will happily keep together in the same tank.
Usually you wouldn't train to dogs together, they can be easily distracted, but it is best to have a female and male together, as 2 males are very feel very competitive and have the need to be the alpha male. They might get into a fight if they are meeting for the first time and have not previously been socialized with other dogs.
Yes and No! If you have two snakes of the same size, and the same gender, it's OK. If you have a larger snake, it will eat or seriously stress the smaller snake. If you keep a male and a female together, make sure that they are at least 2-3 feet long, and relatively the same size.
Usually no. There are exceptions, but (.eu) breeders don't recommend two male dobermann's living together.
No. take out 1 female

Common sense would be to keep the 'spare' male separated to prevent any possible "male dominance" thing from happening.
