hi the only fish you can keep in a bowl with out a fiiter and a heater is the buitiful BETTA they can have it but they dont need it. My betta actually hates heaters and filters he love just water. Gold fish need filters but bettas are really hardy and just never put two males togeter the will fight . Hope this helps :)

∙ 14y agoCut Bamboo will float but if you can weigh it down at one end somehow and then bury the weighted end in the substrata it can be quite an attractive and effective addition to the decor. Angelfish and Discus will even spawn on it. Bamboo will not live and grow in the aquarium however because it is not aquatic and it will eventually drown.
