Ladybugs CAN be pets for what I know. Me and my friend found a ladybug and we kept it. We haven't kept for very long, but with the right care, I think they could make nice pets.
Yes . If you feed it the right food.
Ladybugs eat rose bush aphids, so get a leaf or two off of a rose bush that has aphids. You shouldn't keep a ladybug as a pet, though. It will shorten its life.
it eats nearly a half of pound of grass
no, as long as you take care of the pet and makesure it gets enough food, water, and air.
Maybe an hour or two. :/

Ladybugs should be in your garden eating aphids and other garden pests. They are not pets.
The first Pillow Pet was a ladybug.
