Depending on your religion, it would or wouldn't be. If they are okay with it, go ahead! :)
* A man can give a 'Promise to get engaged ring' or, an engagement ring and be a fiance for the rest of their lives. Generally after a year of engagement the couple get married.
If the engagement ring you gave your fiance is a family heirloom (passed down from generation to generation) then she should give you the ring back. If you bought her the engagement ring then it's hers to keep. If and when you get engaged again your next fiance would not want a ring you had given another woman.
End the engagement. The pain, expense and stress of ending an engagement is nothing compared to getting divorced.
she knew he did not want to marry her because she was poor
No, she is lying yo you and does not care if you know about it.
Do you understand what a fiance is? You probably should have already kissed...
No, once your fiance gave you the engagement ring it is yours to keep. However, if it is a family heirloom (this can happen) then it should go back to the ex fiance.
No it is not allowed at all.
She is called Miss until she is married, whether she is engaged (a fiancee) or not
The end of the day it's her fiancé.. If she was aware of your feelings then she could be a bit more respectful!

Because your fiance is immature and doesn't get it that when you are engaged to be married then they are no longer free to date as they please. After an engagement there is any given time when one or the other of the engaged couple can still break the engagement off. As much as your heart is breaking consider yourself one lucky person that you found out now. Kick your fiance to the curb and no more chances. Good luck Marcy
