Absolutely not! They must be supervised, or they will overeat til they get the bloat, which can be fatal.
They need food and water too....

To leave two puppies (or even adult dogs) in a cage for three days would be animal abuse and animal neglect, and is punishable by law in most states. Granted, the punishment probably wouldn't be very harsh, and definitely not harsh enough in my opinion.
Stop and ask yourself how you would like to be locked in a closet for a couple of weeks, which would be the equivalent of the puppies being locked in a cage for several days. Now, if your answer is "no", then that should give you your answer about leaving those puppies alone in a cage for three days.
The dogs will end up having to sit, lie and sleep in their own waste, which would be a certain lead-in to illness. Then take into consideration that their waste would end up in their food and water (provided they had some), and then you have an even bigger health threat.
If you have no one to take care of them for you, then you can board them at the vet's for a reasonable fee. Otherwise, you need to stay home. If staying home is not an option, and if you can't afford to board them at the vet's, then you may want to consider finding another home for the puppies.
