It depends on where you living in Korea. Seoul is the most expensive city in Korea.

If you are living in a small township (<10,000 people) and you do not spend much, you could do this. However, this could easily be your rent check alone in Seoul.

What month and year did the United States enter into the Korean war and what month and year did it end?

The United States entered the Korean War in the month of June in the year 1950. The conflict started on June 25, 1950, when North Korea invaded South Korea. The United States, along with a United Nations coalition, intervened to support South Korea. The Korean War lasted for three years, and it officially ended with the signing of an armistice agreement on July 27, 1953. The armistice established a ceasefire between North Korea, China, and the United Nations Command, representing South Korea and the United States. However, a formal peace treaty was never signed, so technically, the war has not ended, and the Korean Peninsula remains divided between North and South Korea.

Why won't south Korea and north Korea reunificate?

Because the North don't want to do that for some reason... They beieve that to be a strong and powerful country you need a good military whereas south Korea believe that friendship with other countries will lead to good teamwork and that will make you powerful. They don't think the same things because the north only think about war and eating up other countries. I, as a South Korean, wonder why they don't reunificate even though South Korea supply North Korea with lots of rice every month. If they unify, then North Korea will share South Korea's high economy but they just don't want to do that.... hahha?

What are your thoughts on the US involvement In N Korea?

The US needs to go to sleep. Let the Navy seals do it for us. They are studs, its just that easy. Maybe buy some microwaves and eat hot pockets for a month so we can pay south Korea to make there own Navy Seals. Hope this helped!
