Best Answer

That is definitely possible, especially if the pregnancy has been rough throughout. If the mother experiences some type of intense distress or trauma the baby will experience it just as hard or usually worse. The baby may also have had developmental issues/ diseases/ etc as it developed and he/she may not have been able to pull through whatever may be going on. If the mother does not remain particularly good with her habits the child will experience distress. Also, if labor begins and does not go well the baby's oxygen supply and heart rate can decreases rapidly and the baby can be instantly lost after birth, even becoming a still born child. Hope that answers your question!

What is fully developed a fetus or an embryo?

Well, embryo is the developing stage of a zygote(fertilised egg) when it repeatedly divides itself into a ball of cells to form the different tissues and then the organs of the baby. The stage when the hands, legs , and different body parts of the baby can be identified is termed as the foetus. So, in accordance with your question the stage of the foetus is more developed. However the foetus is not the fully developed stage. The foetus once completely developed , the baby is born.
