Why on earth would you want to do that? There is absolutely No benefit what so ever, all you do is risk smashing the sump off even more than normal!
coilover or lowering springs or air suspension
No there is no way to lower a stock Acura Integra without buying new springs. Lowering the ride height of a vehicle will require many adaptations to the suspension, including new, shorter springs.
If the Yamaha is a bit to high for you, there are a few ways to lower a bike.Depending on how much you want it lowered, there are different options that might work for you.The first is lowering the suspension. Lowering the suspension means that the whole frame sits lower to the ground. Talk to a suspension specialist about it as it is very complicated for the average guy.The second if purchasing a lower seat. this can decrees it just enough for you to touch the ground.the third and probably least likely option it to buy smaller rims and tyres to lower is a bit as well.Depending on you situation one of these options could suit you.
of course you can't!!
there a few different possibilities depending on your car and budget. first you have to decide what suspension type you have - the three main suspension types are coil spring, torsion bar and/or leaf spring. to lower coil spring suspension you just buy replacement springs, or if your budget will stretch that far go for adjustable platform suspension. (alternatively you can get your angle grinder out and cut them - but not recommended) with leaf springs you can buy lowering blocks which go in between the spring and axle, lifting the axle up into the body of the vehicle, thus lowering it (cheap option) the better (and dearer option) is to get the leafs reset which flattens them, thus lowering the vehicle. and finaly, torsion bars - the more complicated type to lower. some cars you can wind them up(or down) by using a ratchet to wind up a bolt, or another type requires you to remove the spline from the suspension and rotate the shaft a couple of splines, and put it back together, lowering the suspension.
You can order lowering links through Dual Star website. http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Brand/Honda/XR_Lowering_Links.htm
A/C or air suspension? A/C follow the routing of the serpentine belt - usually on the lower end of engine Air suspension??
Trade it on a Legacy. They are already lower. Outback suspension was specifically designed to have a higher ride height. If there is no commercially available suspension lowering kit specific to your Outback, I wouldn't touch it. Although I have never considered altering the suspension, from what I have seen of the clearances in the wheel wells this would be a bad idea, especially for someone who asks the question in this forum. You need a lot of knowledge of suspension geometries and metal working.
You will need lowering links to shorten the suspension and seat height. They are available from several manufacturers, below is a link for Devol Engineering.
use omega 3 fatty acids!
It is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the front of the engine. Above the lower control arm. I had to reach around the suspension with one arm and up through the suspension with the other to get it off. Also it takes 7 quarts of Oil..
Not without you or your representative having agreed to the lowering. He can if you dont have acontract stipulating the wage you are to be paid.
