If you are all alone on a really empty road. Sometimes also when you are in a city, but watch out for signs that says that you can't. If there is a possibiity to avoid having to do a U-turn, don't take a U-turn. It can be disturbing for the traffic, and it is illegal in many cities/places.
Additional: This type of prohibition is usually set by local traffic codes and any answer given here will not be universally applicable. You will have to check the laws of your local jurisdiction.
Yes, you must always stop at a 4-way stop.
no all vehicals from all direction are to stop and wait for the bus to turn their lights off and leave.
I assume you are asking about a quarter turn. A total turn is 360 degrees. A quarter turn is 1/4 of the way around (you have to do it 4 times to make a whole turn). 360 degrees * 1/4 of the way around = 360/4 = 90 degrees
As safely as you can, coast into the break down lane, come to a stop and turn the 4-way flashers on.
whoever did not stop i guess. obviously there had to be a light or a stop sign and someone did not obey the stop sign or light. the first to stop at a 4 way stop has the right to go, if it is a light well someone blew the light.
Imagine you're standing on a clock facing 12. Turn to the right and stop at 9. You will be facing left of your original position.
It depends on the car. Some cars require that you turn on the turn signals to make the 4-way flasher work. If that's the case with your vehicle, make sure the emergency flashers aren't on. Otherwise, it's probably a problem with the turn signal switch.
Left turn Right turn And go straight
This would be talking about the Right Turn on Red. In the US the right turn on red is legal at all traffic lights, except where it is specified with a "No Turn on Red" sign (white background black lettering). You can legally turn right after you came to a complete stop at the traffic light, the traffic from the left has the right of way. There are times when you don't need to come to a complete stop when making the right turn on red. Some intersections have a lane median that separates the straight lanes from the right lanes (I don't know the technical term for it). These sometimes will have yield signs at the end, saying you have to yield to the traffic from the left. Really depends on the intersection whether you have to make a complete stop, if you only have to yield, or if you don't have to stop. Many so think at a regular 4-way intersection that the right turn on red is a yield, it's not, it's a stop, you must make your complete stop at the red light before proceeding to make the right turn on red, or if you can make it at all (No Turn on Red sign).
4 way flashers and turn signals both have a "flasher can" in the system to make the lights flash the turn signal and 4 way flashers are controlled independantly of each other try replacing the flasher can for the 4 way flashers it is obvious that the bulbs are ok because they work on turn signals
never
First to the stop, first to go. Yield to the left. Absolutely WRONG 4 ways means you must stop and proceed one at the time safely. It has nothing to do with first or last. There maybe one car on each stop and a long line to one stop sign it means you must wait your turn until it is your turn to safely proceed.
