No, leaves are made out of paper.
a guinea pig should eat a tables spoon of veggies every day and can have lettuce only if its romain.
I pick lettuce as soon as it starts producing around a dozen palm sized leafs. It will continue to grow more leafs all spring and summer, though when the weather gets hot, the plant tends to bolt. When it bolts and goes to seed, I pull up the whole plant, and replant more. Planting lettuce again in August is good, since many lettuce varieties ( red, romaine, endive, grand rapids, etc. ) prefer cooler weather.
Swisher paper is either made from tobacco leafs or a natural paper flavored by tobacco
They love carrots and lettuce! I've heard they like grapes. We'll be trying that with ours tomorrow.
degu's are known for eating cabbage, peas, basil, mint leafs, carrots, many different varieties of vegetables
Best thing to do is grow the produce yourself and pick it fresh in the early hours of the day. I grow at least 4 different varieties of lettuce for different colors and textures. Picking them early before the sun causes them to wilt helps. But if you pick them at mid-day, wash the leafs and put them in a bowl in the refrigerator ( covering them with a damp paper towel helps ) and they will crisp right up. So in answer to your question . . . Fresh, Clean, Crisp and Color ! Oh . . . and stay away from Iceburg Lettuce ! That stuff is crap ! Dark green and red lettuce is very attractive and nutritious !
sometimes depending on how old it is. storing it in a refrigerator on a damp paper towel help prolong the life of the lettuce
The Toronto Maple Leafs still have a chance, stats wise everyone has a chance, but the Leafs will have to win 7-8 of there last 10 games to make it.
