No, they are electric only.
It goes up and down. Or not sometimes...
The motors on the rear quarter windows are unreliable.. same thing happened to my lebaron. you have to push them down and move it back and forth. but be careful as to not break it or put too much pressure on it. That worked for me.
I have 1998 it is your door jam switchs
Unlatch the latches at the top of the window, then press the convertible top button down. this button is located near the armrest. If this does not work you must aquire a new convertible top motor. from the trunk, remove hyd. fluid from the conv. top pump, operate top by hand. worked for me for years
1-Go behind rear seat and remove vinyle and cardboard covering.2-Locate the motor/hydrolic fluid reservoir (if on knees in rear seat facing rear window will be on right side).3-On right side of motor unit will be a rubber stopper, remove this and with a large plastic syringe, remove hydrolic fluid.4-Replace rubber stopper and the convertible top can then be operated manually.Remember, if you want to operate top electrically again, fluid must be replaced.
The electric motor in the door is going bad.
There isn't any date describing when this was posted, but I'm having the same problem now. Did you find out how to fix this/operate it manually? Please let me know R_P305@hotmail.com
yes that is it
On the console , in front of the armrest
ConvertibleYou need to get to the motor that operates the top and disconnect thre drive from the top, then you can lift it by hand. Just remove hydraulic oil from conv. top motor and you can operate top by hand. worked for me for years
If you hear the pump running, remove the plug in the cover of the pump located in the trunk and see if the fluid is low. If it is low you should check for leaks as it is a closed system. The other option is open the "T" knob (CCW) and you can operate it manually.
You can't. It's a setting in the engine computer - remove that, and your motor won't operate.
