Rarely as you need the hormones during pregnancy to develop the udder to a stage to express milk - unless the doe has a pseudo pregancy. Sometimes however the dairy breeds udders can develop to a stage to produce milk but to get full production (similar to cows) it is better to let her have a kid.

You can milk her in her early stages of gestation. However, you should not milk her about 2 months before pregnancy or even earlier than that, as she needs to have a break before the parturition date. The closer that you milk her to her parturition date, it may induce a pre mature labour.

Yes, but since they aren't bred for milk production, don't be surprised if you don't get much from her. Make sure to save enough for her kid, or to supplement with formula.

Why is fresh goat milk more healthy for a human baby than normal milk?

Breast milk is more healthy for a baby than any other kind of milk or formula. Cow's milk was meant for baby cows, and that milk benefits them the most. Same with goat milk, meant for baby goats. However, goat milk is closer to human milk than cows milk. So if by normal milk you mean cow milk, than this is your answer.

What happens to a mother goats milk if the baby goat dies?

A mother goat's milk will build up if the baby dies, and dry out eventually if it is a meat or fibre goat. If it is a dairy goat, milking will be necessary, or the goat's udder will burst and no one will ever be able to milk it again. Kids on a dairy goat help keep the udder from, at best, distending, or at worst, bursting. Milking also helps the goat get used to the milking routine.

Is goats milk a good substitute for breast milk?

Only if you gave birth to a goat. Just because goat's milk is an unusual thing to drink in our culture, does not make it superior. The best thing for a baby is its mother's breast milk. Goat's milk, cow's milk, or formula is just a substitution. And substitutions are just that poor imitations of what is best.
