Answer1.4 petrol engines are listed as 15W/40 semi synthetic 1.4 Diesel engines are listed as 5W/40 semi synthetic or 5W/30 fully synthetic
It truly depends on your geological region & it's temps. You have an API recommendation from Ford that covers these (4) viscosity ranges : 5W-30, 15W-40, 5W-40, and SAE 30.
Hi... For Kia Sorento 3.5 DOHC , you ca use the following oil grades: 1. 20W-40 , 20W-50 (FROM -10C UP TO 100C) 2. 15W-40 , 15W-50 (FROM -15C UP TO 100C) 3. 10W-30 (FROM -25C TO 40C) 4. 5W-40 , 5W-30 , 5W-20 (FROM 25C AND DOWN TO COLDER TEMP. , BUT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HIGH SPEED) BEST REGARDS
synthetic is best the owners manual recommends 15W-40 for operation between -10 to 30+C or 5W-30 for -30C to 10C
Depends on where you live. (The temperature actually...) Cool: Low-30(C)- High 20C - 5w/30 Low-22(F) - High 68(F) - 5w/30 Average: Low-20(C)- High 40(c) - 10w/30 Low-04(F)- High 104(f) - 10w/30 Hot: Low-15(C)- High 40+(C) 15w/40 Low 15(F) - High 110+(F) 15w/40
Yes you can I know a few people that use a 5W-30 Diesel and a 15W-40 Diesel. Hope This Helps.
Yes but not recommended, diesel oil is alot thicker (15w-40) and most cars today are designed for (5w-20, 5w-30) if you had to add 1 and it was the only oil, it is ok
2.9 & 3.6 are listed as Cold climate 5W/30 Moderate climate 10W/40 Hot climate 15W/50.
