No.
The turtle would probably try to eat the frog. I always go with a do not mix amphibians and reptiles rule of thumb.
This is EXTREMELY inadviseable. Dart frogs are toxic. While they are much less toxic in captivity, they still produce toxins. They are also extremely small. Turtles are omnivores, and may decide to try to take a bite. This would be fatal for the frog AND possibly for the turtle. Dart frogs are poor swimmers, and would drown in a water turtle's pool. Box turtles and other land turtles would definitely see the frogs as a potential meal. In general, it's not a good idea to mix different herp species in one cage. If you are really set on doing so, it must be a HUGE enclosure, with hiding space and habitat for all of the inhabitants, and they must all have the same environmental requirements. Obviously, they should also all be around the same size, and not prone to prey on one another. Dart frogs and turtles--NOT a good mix.
If your turtle is not eating and you are giving him food pellets and fruit mix it may be due to hibernation. It also may be due to your turtle not feeling well.
Actually, baby land turtles eat plants and small animals, like turtles. They have no teeth, but they use their beak with a sharp edge which they use for cutting food. Some have strong jaws with which they capture their prey. ---- Their characteristics are just like a turtle's characteristics. They are just like the same, but not. Some people think that they eat grass, and, that they cannot eat small animals, but, they do eat small animals.
I wouldn't mix reptiles and amphibians.
Yes, companies like Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines sell turtle brownie mixes.
It's sort of both because they snap or bite like a crocodile, and it has croc ridges on it's shell. It's like a turtle because it has a shell like a turtle and can tuck into it's shell like a turtle. so a Crocodile Snapping Turtle is a mix of a turtle and a crocodile.
Birds have a 4- chambered heart so the blood doesn't mix Frogs have a 3- chambered heart so the blood mixes
Yes they do. My Adult apple snail was ripped apart by my red clawed crab. So based on my experience, I wouldn't mix them together.
Aaggyop- A creature that roams the woods at night. a mix between a coyote and a turtle.
No. Depending on the size of the snake, it may eat the turtle, and depending on the species of the turtle, it might eat the snake. It's not recommended that you house different types of animals in the same enclosure because they each have special needs, which could harm the other one. But if you have a small, non-venomous snake, and a medium sized non-carnivorous turtle, then they more than likely would not kill each other.
They will thrive on a mix of fish, turtle food, and some leafy vegetables.
