Most opiate patients are chronic pain patients in formal Pain Management programs, and since Depression is common to all pain patients, PM programs typically require patients to go through some type of mental health therapy. Taking Wellbutrin and other AD's with Fentanyl and other opiates is common, but of course not everyone is the same. For some like me, AD's have the opposite effect, so I can't take them. There are those that do benefit though - the best course is to try it for a short period to see if you're getting any benefit.

∙ 12y agoDon't do it. You'll go straight into withdrawals UNLESS your already in the hardcore part of your kick. At least 48 hours in. Bupe doesn't mix with any other opiates and are primarily used when your sick (48 hrs in) or as a maintenance drug to get off dope, fent or whatever. You mix them and you'll see what I'm talking about. Not as bad as cotton fever, but still makes you feel like you took 2 totally counter acting drugs.

YOU cannot use tramadol in combination with methadone. It is an opiate antagonist which if you are taking methadone can send you into instant severe withdrawl. I do not have the answer for methadone and fentanyl combination but do not use the tramadol methadone combination. If you do or have you are in for a very very scary experience. There are many pain meds you cannot mix with methadone. Take it from a life long methadone patient who has experienced what it is like to mix an opiate antagonist with methadone........Do not try it............................
