There shouldn't be an issue with it when the two fatter tires are on the rear and thinner on the front, but don't mix them up left to right. We used to do this a lot when driving on sand, we put fatter tires on the front for flotation and better steering.

It depends on the 4-wheel drive system of both vehicles. Both quadra-drive and quadra-trac II use the same transfer case, called the NV247. If both vehicles have one of those 4X4 systems then yes, they are the same exact case and can be used to replace each other.
