My mother is 86 and normally takes paxil, she had a flair up of her artheritis so her doctor gave her some cyclobenzaprine 10mg. She also takes some high blood pressure meds, i began giving her the cyclo, after her 3rd dose her BP went so low she passed out. I called 911 her BP was 96/48 and she normally has high BP, they took to the emergency room. After a scare and a few hours she was back to normal, after running all their tests everything with her was fine. Their conclusion was, it was the CLYCLOBENZAPRINE interaction that caused this, i would be very careful if you all mixing these two drugs!!!

∙ 12y agoSure you can, but you'll be high beyond all recognition. I took both at the same time once and when they hit me, they hit me HARD. I was tired as f**k, but couldn't fall asleep right away. While I was trying to fall asleep, I kept hearing voices but nobody was there. When I finally did fall asleep, it was 2 AM. I woke up at 6 PM later that day. You will be high as f**k.

I know an older lady who is actually prescribed 40mg x 3 plus 200mg of Seroquel, but I would NOT recommend doing this. She has been taking these medications for years, and unless your doctor gives the okay, do NOT mix these. Seroquel will knock you on your ass, and not in a good way.
