Not recommended,
The Volkswagen equivalent antifreeze is the RED antifreeze known as Dexcool. Do not use the green or blue or any other type or you will be looking for trouble.
There is a fairly new type available at any auto parts store and Wal-Mart that will mix with any other type of antifreeze, red or green. You can use this in any car or truck, old or new.
Green colored antifreeze meeting Ford specification ( ESE-M97B44-A ) mixed 50 / 50 with preferably distilled water ( Ford states to not exceed 60 % antifreeze and not to mix green colored antifreeze with any other color )
, the mopar part # for the correct antifreeze is 4267020ab. But any green antifreeze will work. Service tech. Dodge dealer
Any of the top brands will do just fine. green
can i mix any type of antifreeze in my scion tc
Any 50/50 mixture of regular green antifreeze.
It depends on which antifreeze/coolant you used. The prestone brand claims it can be mixed with any other brand. Read the bottle to see if it has the same claim
No you can not due to the properties of the two. Certain "red" antifreezes and "green" antifreeze combine and turn to "mud". Other "red" antifreezes combine with out any problem. You best bet is to not mix colors ever.
Yes, you can if you have completely flushed any and all traces of any other type of anti-freeze..... I also add prestone's anti corrosion mix to 50/50 green when changing from dex-cool..
Regular green antifreeze of any manufacturer will be fine in a 50-50 mix with water
GM Dexacool or any other brand that indicates it is "dexacool" compatible
