Well I've taken soma in the morning and zanaflex at night but I'm running low on soma and weening off since the dea is scaring drs into no rx-ing it rumor has it they are trying to get rid of it entirely which is sad cuz the dea has a phd in law and criminal stuff not a phd in the medical field so they really have no business telling drs what they can and can't write for legit patients who are disabled and in alot of pain and only letting them give us these drugs that are more dangerous and have all kinds of nasty side effects and offer lil or no relief at all and is either really hard on the kidneys or the liver more so then the narcotic alternative but hey at least they eliminate the risk of addiction right cuz that's our main concern above anything else we may have kidney failure liver failure and death by mixing a non narcotic new drug the FDA rushed to approve and replace the old narcotics that we have plenty of years of data about for these unknown drugs that are bad for u dangerous and we have LIl knowlege of the long term effects some ppl have even gone crazy but again it seems that the dea and FDA feel that the american peoples biggest concern is addicts or the possibility of addicts getting a fix and that we the people are not interested in get relief we need. Now j agree that those bad drs that started all this who would write scripts to anybody who didn't need it but would pay for it so they could sell it needed to be stopped but it seems they have already but now that they've created this new division to go after drs they have a quota to meet so there going after legit drs and causing alot of pain for alot of us patients and it's not fair it's not right and needs to change we employ the government the tax payers money not the other way around we should tell them what to do and who a problem is and isn't not a disgruntled mother who's kid was intolerant to a substance they had no business taking in the 1st place and further more mixing it with other substances and ends up dying so now real patients are not allowd the relief we need cuz some people may choose to abuse it. I've had ppl close to me and in family die of over dose but what they all had in common was opiate intolerance. Now a patient who's been on opiates for years and is tolerant to it then the risk of respiratory depression is severely less or even non existent and we may need a stronger drug to break through the tolerance not just here's some ibuprofen and a dangerous drug live with it. Sorry for my rant just feel pationate about the subject and urge others to take action to make the changes we need like make us bring in a medical record that a street dealer who's perfectly healthy won't have or be able to get. Problem solved instead of removing a substance that's proven to work.

Now I've taken the 2 drugs 8 to 12 hrs apart but never under a couple hours and I have not been able to find any info online or in the paperwork about it so I hope someone can answer better and let me know if it's safe I have high tolerance and am also on buprenorphine tramadol and Xanax soma and don't have enough to relieve the pain so want to know if it's safe to take within a short time frame thank you
