They both have sedative properties. If you mixed them in careless dosage you may suffer the side effects of both or either drug in increased intensity. The central nervous system/respiratory depressant effects may be synergistically compounded.
(Source: I did this last night and I have a complete loss of memory about 30 mins after ingestion until I woke up this morning. Very dangerous, and quite scary.)

∙ 11y agoYou can but be very careful! Soma is a muscle relaxer, but Valium is also used as a muscle relaxer as well.as for anxiety. Taking too much can slow down breathing & lead to a possible overdose. I have been given both together & was unable to drive & became very sleepy.
