Yes. I haven't ever heard of adding mayo. Use a beaten egg instead. Crab meat, bread crumbs, a little garlic / garlic salt, paprika, maybe some cayenne pepper, green onions (chopped finely), parsley (chopped finely), and an egg. Then fry in canola oil (don't let them burn, just brown).
