of course you can. any antidepressant or anti psychotic drug in a large number can kill a person. Im not going to suggest doing so, because that's just sick..but, if they don't kill, they leave horrible side effects that you will probably have forever. hope that helps.
Wellbutrin, as with most every drug, can cause serious side effects with overdose. The risk of seizures, as well as other serious side effects, is increased exponentially as the administered dose is increased. Pre-marketing studies on Wellbutrin (Bupropion) have shown that doses above 450mg per day increase these serious side effects and lower the seizure threshold. Doses above 600mg per day dramatically increase these your risk. You should always discuss dosing changes with your doctor. Also remember, it's always safe to get a second opinion if you question your doctor's advice.
What you mention as "overdose" might actually be a question about "too much". If one is on a dose of Wellbutrin that is too high, the effect of Wellbutrin will create problems that are additive to the reason for being prescribed---this would mean that it is likely, on too high a dose to feel agitated, anxious (anxiety), hyper-active, restless, irritable, insomnia etc. This is a medication that should be 'felt'. One should also check-in with friends and loved ones to insure that behavior changes are not apparent.
Overdose in the conventional sense, to cause significant medical harm, per the first paragraph, are possible. Seizures are one problem but theoretically, at high enough dose, other medical problems may ensue. If one has taken more than their allotted dose, it is always wise to consult a medical practitioner (on call if necessary) or an ER.
I think the real question is why would you even consider injecting an anti-depressant in the first place? But the answer is of course you can inject too much of it and as a matter of fact you could end up putting yourself in a grand mal seizure. I really hope the person that asked this question is not seriously injecting this drug and I would strongly advise anyone else who is thinking of doing this not to!
You can overdose on anything. An overdose is just taking more than the dose you were prescribed; but if you're asking about it killing you that'd be the Tylenol. Overdosing on Wellbutrin will just make you feel like crap.
Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol and if you take enough (figure 60mg/Kg of body weight) that will kill your liver if not treated in time. You'll end up dying from liver failure which is a long, drawn out death.
I'd not recommend sleeping pills either since any dangerous amount would probably just put you in a coma for a while.
GL on your 'research'.
If you take each in their prescribed dosages, you will be fine. I currently take 450mg of Wellbutrin, 100mg of zoloft and 1mg of klonopin daily. Of course this is what my doctor prescribed me and after trial and error found the right dosage that worked best.
However, taking too much Wellbutrin greatly increases your risk of seizures. As for the others, they each have their own potential consequences if not taken according to the doctor's prescription.
You can, however, overdose on water, so anything is possible.
what mood stabilizer can i take with prozac, wellbutrin, adderall and xanax?
There is no equivalency between Wellb. and Prozac, they work different neurotransmitter systems.
According to my doctor, Yes.
no. or YES Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. An overdose of Prozac can be fatal. In addition, combining Prozac with certain other drugs can cause symptoms of overdose. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.
I am assuming you mean "Ativan". Taking normally prescribed amounts of both would not cause an overdose.
I would say you should see your doctor. Are you a woman? I am also on Prozac and wellbutrin but have now found that my thyroid isn't functioning properly, which can cause fatigue and depression, amongst other things. Talk to your doc about what's going on.I wish you luck.
Well, meth is highly addictive and eventually will kill you. Isn't that danger enough!!??
If you want to die.
Clonazipam will its a benzo
I would think so...
yes you can overdose on either
No.
