If you are flying to or from the United States, you will need to obey the TSA's regulations regarding liquid, gel, and aerosol products: they must be 3.4 ounces or less. Any such products must also be able to fit in a quart-size zip-top clear plastic bag and be presented separate from your carry-on baggage (and any other electronics, shoes, outerwear, etc.) as you go through the security checkpoint. All aerosols have to remain closed (with their cap or lid on) during the flight to avoid pressure issues.
There are some travel-friendly mousses out there if you'd like to avoid paying the checked bag fee, but they don't last very long; it's probably just easier to fly on an airline with low or no checked bag fees or buy the mousse you need at your destination.

∙ 15y agoYes. Mousse is not among the banned substances/items in checked luggage. If it's 3 ounces or less by volume, you can put it in your carry on as long as it's in a clear, zip-lock style bag.
