No, swimming with a pad is unwise. The water would soak ino it and be very messy and could possible lead to a yeast infection or any other infection. This is why tampons are made. They come in various sizes and are perfect for swimming or any other active sports.

∙ 14y agoIf you are referring to a 'pad' as a towel that is used when a female is menstruating, then the answer is that it depends on what make of towel you are using. Check the packet to see if they are flushable or not. Most if not all packets should give clear instruction on how to dispose of the sanitary towels.

∙ 10y agoOf course... Make sure you do not let it stay there for more than 45 minutes... The duration of leakage for a standard pad is about 30 minutes... Some nice brands like Kotex are good for small amounts for longer time... In general, the higher the capacity, the shorter the duration it will hold your pee without your underwear getting too wet.... Also, if you are wearing relatively larger or wider underwear, the smell will not be problem for up to 2 hours... Definitely the bottleneck is the actual dispersion of urine into your clothes... If that happens, vinegar is a good way to get rid of the stains...Mix with some lemon to also make sure your panties stay fresh smelling for the next time... Urine tends to corrode the fabric of the panties, so ensure also that you anly try this 3-4 times per panty.

∙ 12y agoI suppose you can, but I wouldn't recommend it- it might leak through if it's not strong enough. If you pee in your pad it will probably leak if you have a lot of urine in you.

∙ 13y agoI have accidentally wet myself, from laughter whilst wearing a pad. I thought it had leaked through to my trousers, but it didnt. The pad absorbed it all. I used Always Ultra though :)
