if you are the one with the game cartridge, there should be a multiplayer option in the menu. Choose it, then press the "host" button(this means you're player 1) Then, your friends would go to the DS download play button which is on the DSIXL menu. They would press it and wait for their systems to receive the signal from your DSIXL. If you're the one with out the cartridge, like I said, go to the DS download play option on the DSIXL home menu and wait for your friends signal. when you get the signal, you guys should be good to go!:)
