you can pick up a beardy at any age, the sooner you begin holding them, the more friendly they will be and the more willing to be picked up they will be,
isnt it obvease they're scared or they are protecting itself.
if its on it u wash itoff or if its in its cage scoop it out or just pick it up and clean
