Yes you can but there is a chance that the female will get pregnant.
Russian hamster,Chinese Dwarf hamster and that's all.You can find Chinese dwarf,Russian, bear, short hair, and the syrian hamsters at eather Pet Smart or That Fish Place That Pet Place.
only breed hamsters when the female is ready (stroke her back with your finger and look for a response). Never place a male inside a female hamsters cage, the female will attack as they are very territorial and can kill each other. Place both hamsters on common ground - a cardboard box (place some bedding in so it's not strange and stressful for it. Place the female in first if possible.
SOME hamsters are, but most of them are not. If you place a hamster inside of an environment with another, they usually do not react very well, resulting in biting and sometimes, death. It is usually a good idea to make sure that if you are going to have hamsters share a cage at ALL, they are both female hamsters. This is because male hamsters are more territorial, which is why they fight so viciously.
well just to say no .... or elce i would have done it 3 years ago .. no hamsters cant be cross breed as they will never try it on in the first place and likely thell end up fighting ... i tried it ,it was nasty :/
The best place to get any hamster is at a reputable pet store such as PetsMart. You never know if a hamster will be nice until you get it home.
If they are two females it is definite that you should separate them. Male and female also need to be separated unless you want them to have babies. to try this out, place the female with the male, if they fight, separate immediatly. try it again every few days, if she accepts him, calculate four days later. That is when she will accept him again. that happened to my hamsters too i put them in different cages, i tried to put them in a bigger cage but it did'NT work
The most popular hamster is the Dwarf Hamster, in second place is the teddy bear hamster and in third, the black bear hamster!
I have a Syrian hamster I got her for £12. but her cadge and supplies are substantially more. A dwarf hamster is cheaper its self around £9. But supplies are the same as a Syrian hamsters. I would suggest you get a Syrian Hamster for handling. but a dwarf if you want to put several in one cage. I hope this is helpful.
The female should be between the age of 4-6 months, no older. Because she can complications when having the youngsters. And no earlier because she may end up having a poor litter. The male needs to be at least 2-3 months of age.
be extremely carefull any kind of the same hamsters will breed (given its a boy or girl), bit hampsters will tear each other appart after they "get together". so its an in and out deal. Although the above answer is true, it is lacking the correct information that you asked for. First of all, the type of hamster that has babies the quickest is the Syrian hamster. (also called teddy bear hamster) However, these hamsters are extremely difficult to breed, being that Syrian hamsters are solitary creatures, and they live alone. The easiest hamster to breed is the dwarf hamster. There are several species of dwarf hamsters, but my favorite is the campbells dwarf. Since they can live in groups, you should just get two of the opposite sex, place them in their cage, and let nature take its course. In some cases, the father can be a great help in rearing the babies, but to be safe, you should probably take the male out after mating has occured. The babies will be born within 18-20 days, although a bit longer is not uncommon. with Syrian hamsters, you have to be very careful with breeding. If the female is not in heat, or oestrus, she will most likely attack the male. Also, mating cannot be done in the females cage. Basically it is a lot of work to breed Syrian hamsters, but if you visit the website, hamsterrific.com, they will explain everything in detail. Also, syrian hamster babies will normally be born within 16 days of mating. Before you breed, make sure you have homes lined up for all the babies, and if you plan to keep them, make sure you are fully prepared to care for all these hamsters. From one hamster breeder to another, i wish you the best of luck.
Try to put them in the same cage and if you notice they are fighting, take them out because hamsters are solitary creatures. Also, try to check if your female hamster is in heat.I am not 100% sure so to protect your hamsters, first place them on the ground together and if they show aggression, don't try to breed them.
The Great Syrian Revolt took place between 1925-1927 and was dedicated to ousting the French from the lands of Syria.
