Limewire songs are illegal; don't use them in the first place.
IN LIMEWIRE YOU HAVE TO RIGHT CLICK ON THE SELECTED SONG AND GO TO FILE LOCATION AND THEN FROM THERE YOU HAVE TO USED ITUNES AS YOUR PRIMARY MUSIC PLAY AND THEN IT SHOULD PLAY THE SONG, OR YOU CAN JUST EASILY, DRAG IT FROM LIMEWIRE TO ITUNES
Because you are probably using the streaming feature of limewire. This needs an internet connection. If you want to play music from limewire offline then you need to download the music rather than stream it.
When limewire downloads a song, it places it in the library. The song is there and does not rely on limewire to play it. Ipods take Mp4 formats and other players generally take MP3 or WMA formats to play. You can download converters free online at download.com.
My experience is that you cannot play the files you have downloaded once you have deleted Limewire. I just did. I do not have limewire any longer.
From Assumption, most songs on limewire are mp3, and therefore would and SHOULD work 100% on itunes.
You need the quick time player to play those files
its probably your quicktime download a new version of that...then update itunes...go to itunes.com to find out how.
