As of now the Wii is not compatible with World of Warcraft but I'm sure if one had a degree in computer engineering you could rig it to work.

Hi, No you do not need play station for ninendo wii... I have a wii and also a play station but the play station is on a separate tv and the wii works just perfectly...
The Wii U can not play television shows unless they are internet streamed. The Wii does not offer the option to watch TV unless someone does so through it's internet.
So that someone can play wii without hogging the television.
Because World of Warcraft is a computer game, it's not made for the Nintendo Wii
