Yes, if you have the high-end loft stuff installed already and then you buy the sims 3 ambitions and install it, you just use the sims 3 ambitions disc and your high end loft stuff items will still work within ambitions.

No, you must install the expansion packs in the order in which they were released. If you don't have all the expansion packs, they must still be installed in their release order but skipping over the ones that you don't have. This is because each expansion pack might add something onto things that were previously only available in that expansion pack it belongs to (confusing enough, huh?). Anyway, that is the way Maxis/EA Games made it, and that's the way it was with the original The Sims 1 as well.

Impossible. You need the original Age of Mythology before installing the expansion. That's why it's called expansion. It expands the original version. There's also a gold version of the game, but that's just the original version and the titans version brought together on two disks. If you install gold, you will actually still be installing original version and the expansion, so it won't make any difference. There is a trial version of the titans expansion. For the trial version, you don't have to install original first, but I don't think you want a trial, you probably want the full game.

When a perk becomes pro it adds an extra ability to the perk. For example when you get Sleight of Pro you aim faster down the sight (Good for quick scoping), and you still have the original ability along with the pro one.
