You may not like this but the one solution to this is time. Don't know how long it has been since you broke up or how long you were together but it all comes down to time. You ought to take time for yourself, do the things you enjoy doing for yourself, the things that make you happy. This will get your mind off your ex. I know how hard it is to get over an ex but it really does take a lot of time and patience. Also another good way to help you get over an ex is to block him/her from anything that may cause you to think about him/her.


That means block him or just erase his number on your phone (if you cannot delete the number completely, write it down and put it somewhere where you don't have to look at it unless you really need to or when you are over him/her), past emails, etd. This will help you not think about your ex, it really does work but it also takes a lot of time as well.


Just remember to focus on yourself for now and spend time with your friends, the people who will always have your back no matter what. When you are focused on your goals and accomplishments, you will be happy again and one day realize that you are better off.
