Yes and no. The Greeks wrote the myths in order to explain everyday events and unexplained ones of their time. For example, if it was to storm right now I could say that Zeus was angry and throwing his lightning bolts and that Hephaestus was hammering away at his forge, creating the thunder. So you could find "Evidence" everyday that the myths are true but it is up to you to believe them. Also there is a myth about Adonis that he was so in love with himself that he got turned into a flower that usually grows by the water in order to look at himself for eternity and there really is a flower called Adonis that grows on the water's edge.
