Can you? Of course you can, but the real question is what would be the results. First off your speedometer will read 62.3 at a true 60 mph. Your engine will turn 28.4 RPMs more per mile which will cause you to use slightly more fuel. Your ride, & handling, will be adversely affected. Anytime you change from the original equipment manufacturer size tire to a different size there are consequences. The engineers spent many hours choosing the exact size tire or your vehicle that gives it the best handling ride and fuel economy possible. My advice is to stick with the OEM size car.
No, get a tire shop to check first.
yes
SIZE TIRES, that You can fit on: 14" rims: 235/60/14 15" rims: 215/60/15 16" rims: 225/50/16 17" rims: 235/45/17
No, this is not a good swap as the 215/70-15 is over 3% too small in overall diameter. If you wish to go with 15" wheels then install 235/70-15 tires which will be only 0.36% different than the OEM size.
can i change the tires on a 2010 santa fe 235/65r17 to 235/70r16.
As long as the wheel offset is good it should fit. I have 30x9.5R15's on mine and they rub slightly, those 235/70r16 are shorter then mine.
215/70R16 or 235/60R16 depending on what model
235/65-16 or 255/60-16 are acceptable swaps.
yes
They will fit on your rims, however they may be too big for your wheel wells.
The 1975 F150 takes 15" Rims to accomadate 235 75R 15 Tires
It depends on the rim backspacing they are mounted on. I have 235/75r15 on my 93 with stock rims and they rub only when at full steering lock. The 235/70r16 are 29" tall and my 235/75r15 are 28.9 only .1" different. If the rims you are using have the same width and backspacing as stock, the tires will rub but only at full steering lock. If the rims are wider you will definitely need less backspacing to move the tire way from the frame. The speedo will not be accurate, it will be off by 3 mph showing at 65mph when your actually doing 68.
