It depends how big your bowl is if it is below 5 gallons then you should put one. But if it is 1 or 2 gallons then you will have to move it into a 5 gallon tank or bowl at the least.

How many bubble eye goldfish can you have in a 1 gallon tank?

ZERO!! A 1 gallon tank is not large enough to keep any kind of fish in. A Bubble eye goldfish can grow to 10 inches long and so, using the basic rule for keeping fish. "1 inch of fish need a minimum of 1 gallon of water" you would need at least a 12 gallon tank to house 1 Bubble eyed goldfish.

How big do goldfish grow in a 55 gallon tank?

Goldfish commonly grow to over 12 inches. The size of your tank would indicate that it is not really large enough for keeping goldfish in. The basic rule of fishkeeping is "1 Inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. Goldfish should really be kept in a pond.

Can black moor goldfish mate in 10 gallon tank?

A tiny little 10 gallon tank is no where near large enough to breed/spawn any kind of goldfish. It is not really large enough to house one goldfish properly. The base stocking rule in fish keeping is "1 inch of fish needs a MINIMUM of 1 gallon of water" Goldfish grow to at least 10 inches so the minimum size for one goldfish would be a (nominal) 13 gallon tank. (No one fills a tank to the brim) That would actually hold about 10 gallons.

How big of tank for 12 goldfish?

What goldfish can you put in a 2 gallon tank-freshwater and not to difficult to keep?

you would have to get a 10 gallon tank for 1 goldfish! you would need a 20 gallon tank for 2 goldfish. Also goldfish don't go well together there just being stored at the store they take the fish out right when they start to be aggressive. sorry bout your 2 gallon tank!!

What is better putting 20 goldfish into a ten gallon tank or buying ten 1 gallon fish bowls and putting two fish in each?

Neither! A goldfish needs at LEAST 20 gallons of space, adding 10 gallons for each additional goldfish. For example, I own 2 fantail goldfish, and they live happily in a 30 gallon tank. The reason goldfish die so quickly is because people put them in such small containers, and their bodies stop growing but their organs keep expanding. Goldfish are able to live over 10 years, if cared for properly.

How many goldfish for a 30 gallon tank?

It can't be done. Goldies get huge unless they are the facy kind. Try a pond or get five in a thirty gallon.

Can 2 separate goldfish be put together?

You need to provide 1 gallon of water per inch of fish. Goldfish get along fine with other goldfish.

How many goldfish can i put in a 96 liter tank?

A goldfish can grow to 12 inches or so. Using the basic rules of fishkeeping which are :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs a minimum of 50% of its water replaced every week. It is obvious that a 10 gal tank is not large enough for even one fully grown goldfish. You could put a few small ones in the tank but keep an eye on their sizes and do not go over the 1 inch per gallon rule, otherwise you will have constant sickness/health problems with the fish caused by overstocking.Actually it depends on how big they are if you have a baby goldfish, then you could put around five, but would need to buy a bigger tank later on. ( if they dont die ) If you have fully grown goldfish, then maybe around 2-3. Usually the tank size doesnt harm them. What happenes is that if the tank is too small, then they wont grow and they will probably die. And if one becomes pregnant, then they will have no room to lay the eggs or they wont have enough room to swim while being chases by other goldfish. Hope this helps!
