Short answer: No, The reason being that the rims my be the same size for example 225/7.5/R16 but the lug patterns are different sizes and spaced differently. If you did get it to for you would be risking damage to the wheel and rim. My advice is to go to your local salvage yard and make a deal for a trade or buy the rims you need.
NO. You need to read your own question.
Yea but dont.
NoNo
as long as you havent modified the lug pattern, yes they fit the bronco's 5x5.5 setup.
NO. in 1999 ford changed the lug pattern to 8 (lug) by 170mm, a 97 ford has a 8 on 6.5 which is what Chevy/dodge/ford has used since at least the 60's, i believe Chevy and dodge still use the 8 on 6.5 wheel pattern
Not hardly. 5 lug means 5 holes in the rim. 6 lug means 6 holes in the rim.
Because that is what dodge put on there......
You can if they have the same mount lug pattern but why would you want to?
You can purchase Lug Adapter/Conversion spacers that will allow you to change Lug number amount, and also Lug Pattern. Check Ebay
The main problem will be the lug-nut pattern not the size of the rim. Check the lug-nut spacing before trying to put them on.
YES.
If its the 6 lug, yes and no. I just put a set of 16" chevy 1500 6 lug rims on my 89 d21. I first fit the rims on and noticed the center hole on the rims were too small to fit over the center of the hubs on the d21. I was going to bore the center of the rim to fit, but ran into another problem. If I did that it seemed too close to the lug holes ( chevy lug holes are bigger, a 4" hole in the center seemed too close). I ended up grinding my center hubs down so they fit the chevy rim center. So yes it can be done, but it will take some work. If you do trim the center hubs be very careful and even, don't throw the weight balance off. If you bore out the rim, for the most part, any unevenness will be dissolved when you have the tires balanced.
