YES those 2 years are the SAME.
1988 - 1998.
the fuel filter is on the frame underneath the body about the cab area inside the frame, it is about the size of a redbull popcan..
On the negative post of the battery. Common computer grounds are on the thermostat housing, back of the cylinder head, sometimes on the intake, then main conductors are body to frame, body to battery, body to engine, frame to engine and frame to battery.
no it won't the body mounts were different
g-body 1978-1988
Yes, the same frame and basic underpinnings were used for that whole generation. The C3 (1968-1982).
A Jeep body will not fit a 1987 Blazer frame without significant modifications. The two vehicles have different dimensions, mounting points, and structural designs. Custom fabrication may be required to attach the Jeep body to the Blazer frame effectively. It's advisable to consult with a professional or do extensive research before attempting such a project.
It's hard to estimate, but hey, your in luck, I restored my 1982 Silverado from the frame up. It costs roughly anywhere from 1k to 5k, depending on what you need to get done. It's garunteed to be up in the thousands if you get your parts online. But your best bet is to hit the salvage yards and pull off parts of dead Silverados. The year range your looking for, for parts is from 1973-1987; since it's the same body style, just different front ends.
98 will; 99 will not. Different platforms for those two model years.
You need a 350 TBI/Throttle body injection engine. This is the years you need to look for and they will ALL interchange. 1987 to 1995.
No it will not... but if you are handy and have torches and a welder the body mounts can be modified to fit the yj tub..... caution with the nose/ grille assembly, a cj nose will not fit a yj frame without extensive modifications, therefore i think it is safe to say that a yj nose may have trouble fitting a cj frame!
YES, As long as the 99 is not the new body design.
