No it will not... but if you are handy and have torches and a welder the body mounts can be modified to fit the yj tub..... caution with the nose/ grille assembly, a cj nose will not fit a yj frame without extensive modifications, therefore i think it is safe to say that a yj nose may have trouble fitting a cj frame!
no it won't the body mounts were different
YES those 2 years are the SAME.
Yes, the same frame and basic underpinnings were used for that whole generation. The C3 (1968-1982).
Not without major fabrication..
Not without fabrication.
Find a body shop with someone that is older than 60. Chrysler has not had a frame since the sixty's.
If they are both from the same model you can, check out model numbers (Or VIN numbers) from both frame and body and if they are the same (Especially the first few digits) Then they'll match.
It's a full-size body-on-frame vehicle (assuming that's what you were referring to)
no,the 7 body is longer including the frame
body on frame
There are absolutely no body parts that interchange with a 1991 mustang and 1991 cougar. The mustang is a fox body chassis and the cougar is on the mn12 chassis. The older cougars I believe pre 1988 were structurally similar to a mustang, by this i mean engine bays very similar and rear ends interchangeable. As far as the bodies they did not have interchangeable parts.
yess in some cars like older celicas and some nissans but u are better off to go with a uni body frame...it means all one peice and its much stronger and durable
