if the neck fits in the joint absolutely , but make sure to intonate the guitar so the harmonics line up with the neck which is something big for experienced players, very easy to do. Tune the guitar perfectly than do harmonics on the 12th fret and adjust the bridge until they're dead on. It sounds hard but it isn't.

also make sure the neck us sitting on the guitar right because this could create problems on the neck with playabillity. I modified the neck on my main guitar and it didn't sit right on the neck at first and i had some dead notes which went away when the neck was perfectly straight.

but hope I could help.

What is the pitch of an electric guitar?

do a harmonic on the last fret which by last I mean closest to the neck pickup on the high E string so if you got a 24 fret guitar your highest note would be a variation of E in standard E tuning. On a 21 or 22 fret guitar it wouldn't sound as great but it would be your highest note. to do a harmonic lightly press your finger on the string and hit the string with your other hand , some people can do harmonics without moving their fingers off the strings how lightly they press but the second i hit the note i lift my finger off.

Which fret is the 15th fret on electric guitar?

Frets counted from the head towards the body. Count the position between the 1st fret and the nut (nearest to the head) as fret #1 if it is to be played. The 15th fret is the single dot after the fret with two dots. On the stratocaster fretboard, you will find a single dot at frets 3, 5, 7, 9, two dots at fret 12 and single dots at frets 15, 17, 19 and 21.

How do you re fret a guitar finger board?

The frets themselves are the thick metal wires embedded in the neck of a guitar on the finger board where you form the chords. When you say the 1st fret, though, it means the space between the nut (or fret 0, between the tuning pegs and the fret board) and the first fret. The guitarist applies pressure at this space which causes the string to be depressed exactly at the fret and, when struck, produce the note exactly 1 step higher than the fret before. Each fret represents a diatonic note, following the standard tempered scale. This means that the guitar is a tempered instrument, producing standardized pitches where the string meets the fret rather than where the guitarist's finger hits the string.

Are there 24 fret guitars?

Yes there are, it is quite common for a guitar to have 24 frets. The most common amount of frets on a guitar is 21, 22 & 24. Of course many private builders get creative and it is possible to have frets running all the way to the bridge (i haven't seen one but it is possible if your creative) as long as its measured out correctly.

How many frets on guitar?

That depends on the type of guitar you have. I work with Guitars everyday so I see guitars with 12 frets, 14 frets, 17 frets, 21 frets, 23 frets and occasionally I find 24 fret guitars (with the double octave of the open string) the most frets I have seen was a 29 fret electric guitar. The guitar was custom built though. Most commonly, you will find acoustics with probably 14 to 17 frets and electric guitars with 17 to 21 frets.

What does the highest note on a guitar sound like?

The highest note on a guitar is on the last fret of the high E string. Different guitars have different number of frets, hence the highest note varies depending on the instrument. On vintage fender guitars, such as stratocasters from the 1950's there were only 21 frets, hence the highest note was a Db Most guitars today have 22 frets, making the highest note a D, but there is an increasingly large number of 24 fret guitars from brands such as ibanez, schecter and esp that push the highest note to E, giving the guitar a full range of 4 octaves. In recent years, ibanez manufactured the 27 fret Xiphos, which make the highest note F# Of course there are many, techniques such as pinch harmonics, and effect pedals which allow the guitar to reach tonalities beyond that of the last fret, but as far as normal notes are concerned the ones shown are the highest, given the guitar is in standard tuning

How do you adjust guitar strings?

well.... a 3 part answer tuning, to adjust the strings is the first place to start, righty tighty rules of course, unless the guitar was strung and the tuners where going the opposite way... in that case its lefty tighty haha... but yeah grab your trusty guitar tuner and get them to where you want... thats step one and may answer your question. the more advanced adjustments and answers. action (string height) you can on the bridge of the guitar first , this is like an elevator lowering or making the strings higher for comfort, once its where you like it around the first 6 or so frets than you may or may not have to adjust the neck. to adjust the neck we adjust we have to remove the plate on the head of the guitar is the usual place. I've owned a lot of electrics and its always been the head.... tightening it makes the strings go closer to the 24th fret, loosening it is the opposite effect. A dead straight neck will make the guitar play amazing and to experienced players we hear//feel the difference because once its perfectly even on the 1st and 21/22/24th depending on guitar you've got you will feel a difference and be able to play faster.

What are the positions on a fretboard for acoustic guitar?

If you are talking about the inlays (be it dots, blocks or whatever) then they are: 1 (optional, only some have inlays on 1st fret), 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 24 (not all guitars have 24 frets)
